People said she would be the least likely to succeed after Hear’say, but Suzanne Shaw is well on the way to proving them wrong.
Ice queen Suzanne Shaw is the comeback diva to watch this summer.
Not only has she signed her first major modelling deal since winning Dancing on Ice, but she’s also revealed she doesn’t
now have a free day until September thanks to all the offers rolling in.
The bubbly blonde is starring on the tour of Dancing on Ice and managing to fit in a few stints on the West End stage as Roxie Hart in Chicago.
But that’s not all - her new reality series The Baron has hit the small screen, which means she is even more likely to be in high demand.
The mother-of-one certainly couldn’t wait to flaunt her newly toned figure as she stripped down to the bare essentials to model the new Michelle for George underwear range, on sale at Telford’s Asda stores.
And she is following in some pretty hot footsteps with this particularly lucrative contract.
Ultimo boss Michelle Mone, who designed the collection, is well known for snapping up some of the most talked about names of the moment and has most recently drafted in Mel B to help promote her underwear fresh from the successful Spice Girls world tour.
So for Suzanne it’s very much a step in the right direction - only this time there’s not such a big chance of slipping and falling.
The singer was considered to be one of the least likely to succeed out of the female members of reality show pop band Hear’say… but not any more.
With Kym Marsh riding high in Coronation Street and Myleene Klass appearing almost everywhere, that prediction did seem to be coming true.
But Brits do love a comeback and it’s all the better if that person has been dumped from a great height.
The 26-year-old picked herself up and dusted herself off after love rat Darren Day abandoned her shortly after the birth of their son Corey.
Now the £100,000 deal with Ultimo is just the tip of the iceberg, with more modelling deals expected to follow.
More than 12.5 million people tuned in to watch Suzanne beat Hollyoaks actor Chris Fountain and former Coronation Street actress Zaraah Abrahams in the live final on ITV1.
And that’s a decent-sized fanbase she’s not likely to lose in a hurry.
The Michelle at George range includes sumptuous lace in two tone turquoise and green, available in a plunge or padded bra with a choice of matching lace shorts or thong.
In contrast a beautifully embroidered mesh multiway bra in pure white is also available. Emphasis is not just on luxury, as Michelle has made sure that the fit is both comfortable and flattering. All bras are available in sizes 32A to 38D, priced from £14, with thongs and knickers from £6 in sizes 8-18.
