Coming to a screen near you

Carl Jones takes a sneak-peek at what’s in store on Telford’s cinema screens over the next two months.

He’s back . . . Harrison Ford returns as the intrepid archaeologist after nearly 20 years in hibernation, in the most eagerly awaited movie of the year.

With two decades having passed since Ford last pulled on the famous fedora, he’s clearly an older, wiser character.

The plot for this adventure has been kept closely under wraps, but the sets look superb, Shia LaBoeuf is on board as Indy’s feisty young sidekick, and his love interest from Raiders of the Lost Ark, Marion Ravenwood (played by Karen Allen), is back on the scene.

Add to that appearances from Cate Blanchett, John Hurt, Ray Winstone and Jim Broadbent, and legendary double-act Steven Spielberg and George Lucas once again pulling all the strings behind the camera, and it’s a mouthwatering prospect.

If you only see one film at the cinema this year, it should probably be this one!
